Chris is a results oriented leader in the areas of Configuration Management, Information Security, and IT transformations.
Bill Petersen is an Information Technology and Security professional who has been employed in IT, Security, and Auditing organizations for over 30 years serving technology, financial, and the travel industries. Mr. Petersen was an early adopter of the Internet moving partners off of dedicated circuits to Internet based encrypted connections. He also setup one of the first application firewalls for a leading telecom. Mr. Petersen is an advocate for using best practices as the minimum standard, not compliance requirements.
Mr. Petersen joined Heartland Payment Systems’ information Security team in November 2013. Previous to joining Heartland, Mr. Petersen worked for companies including: Texas Instruments, Alcatel-Lucent, Citi Group, Sabre/Travelocity, and Accredent Solutions.
He is also a former President of the North Texas chapter of the ISSA.

Bennyfer has over 15 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, with experience in test planning, creation of test cases, test execution, defect tracking, and project closure activities.
John is a highly-committed IT leader drawing upon more than 36 years of experience designing and implementing complex global integrated systems, n-tier, Web and desktop applications at Fortune 100 companies in the medical diagnostics systems, pharmaceutical, and transportation industries.
John is a security researcher/practitioner with BAAS Computer Science and MS Cybersecurity degrees and SA, PMP, CEH, CHFI, and CSSLP certifications. He is a Sr. Member of the ISSA, has been a NTXISSA Board member for three years, and is a graduate of the Dallas FBI Citizens Academy.

Bob has worked with computers off and on since the late 60s. He was a DBA, Network Administrator, programmer, information systems consultant, and a computer hacker (good sense of the phrase). He currently seeks to prepare students to be better business administrators by understanding the role of technology in business and the importance of informed decision making.
After co-founding 1stmarkets, Inc. in 2003 as a cyber security consulting business, Mr. Bratan acquired the Elemental Security technology in 2008 and became the CEO of Elemental Cyber Security, Inc a few years later. He developed the Elemental enterprise SW solution into a self-adaptive cyber security automation system providing protection against internal and external threats. Prior to his roles in 1stmarkets, Inc. and Elemental Cyber Security, Inc., Mr. Bratan served for 10 years as a senior Executive for ODS Networks – Intrusion, Inc., a publicly held technology startup (enterprise security and networking solutions) based in Richardson TX, USA. As Vice President of International Operations, Mr. Bratan successfully developed, managed and directed international sales and marketing operations mainly throughout Europe and Asia.
Elliott currently serves as the Information Security Officer for a global manufacturing company. His team is responsible for: risk management and compliance, security policies and procedures, security awareness, security architecture and security operations.
Elliott has worked in the IT industry for 17 years with 11 of those focusing on Information Security. During this time he has held positions within the Financial Services, Higher Education, Retail and Healthcare sectors under HIPAA, SOX and PCI DSS regulations.
He has held various positions with local ISSA chapters and is passionate about teaching parents and children about staying safe online and avoiding cyber bullies.
Elliott holds a BBA in Management from Angelo State University and is a CISSP, a CISM as well as an ISSA Fellow.
