Speaker Bio: Tim worked in information security for 20 years, starting on helpdesk support for a popular proxy firewall in 1996. He has performed many roles from Systems Engineer, to IT/Security Administrator, vulnerability analysis and patch reversing, R&D for IDS/IPS engines and signatures, big data collection project, project management and operations. He’s currently a Senior Security Analyst on Check Point’s customer facing Incident Response Team.

Presentation Description: In the first half we will describe the need for a well-designed incident response plan and how it can help in times of crisis. In the second half we will go over real-world security incident cases and discuss lessons learned.
