Title: Let’s Play A Game – Making A Difference With Your Incident Response Plan
While ransomware continues to capture front page headlines, there are numerous other evolving threats that organizations today must face. Many organizations are not prepared to defend against new threats and some are still trying to address the vulnerabilities from the last incident. This problem is not because their organization doesn’t have the latest technology, it’s because they haven’t developed their Incident Response plan as a play book for how they will react to the common threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
In this talk I’m planning to discuss the incident response frameworks that are being used by organizations across the world and provide guidance for you to choose the right framework for your organization. I will also go through a model Incident Response Plan and Process as well as helping you to create a tactical plans for specific threats your organization will need to respond to. Last, I’m going to go demonstrate an Incident Response Tabletop Game that you can use to create meaningful tabletop exercises to ensure your team is ready for the next threat.
