Let’s go on a journey through malware behavior in cloud collaborative environments. Stops will include:
as well as ransomware and data destruction attacks in the cloud. We will also discuss Cloud CRM malware, and targeted attacks in the cloud. In addition to covering how threats operate in the cloud, focus will be paid to how the Cloud permits us to detect and recover from threats by using Cloud technologies.
Speaker: Sean Hittel, Principal Security Engineer, Netskope
Sean is the Principal Security Engineer responsible for Threat Detection and Cloud Collaborative Attack Research at Netskope. Prior to building cloud aware security engines, Sean helped create innovate threat detection, acquisition, and analysis engines at organizations such as PayPal and Symantec. Sean has also built honeynets and performed deep dive threat analysis on the captures going back to 2001 at organizations including SecurityFocus.
